The Oklahoma City Community Foundation Trustees welcome Mount St. Mary Catholic High School principal Talita DeNegri and Oklahoma City bank consultant Edward A. Krei for three-year terms on the board beginning July 1, 2017.
During her 33-year teaching career, DeNegri has spent 26 years at Mount St. Mary Catholic High School, where she has served as principal since 2004. She was named the 2000-2001 Oklahoma Teacher of the Year and also serves on boards for the Youth Leadership Exchange and Mercy Secondary Educators Association.
An independent banking consultant, Krei recently retired as managing director of The Baker Group, an investment firm specializing in investment portfolio services, asset liability management and financial strategies for community-based financial institutions. Before joining the Board of Trustees, Krei served on the Oklahoma City Community Foundation’s Investment Committee.
Krei and DeNegri replace Dr. Mary Ann Bauman, who resigned her position as Trustee after moving out of state, and attorney Steven C. Davis, who completed his nine-year term June 30, 2017. Davis will now serve as general counsel.
The 15-member Board of Trustees is comprised of local civic and business leaders who govern the policies, administration, activities and grant decisions of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
