The Oklahoma City Community Foundation’s Guide to Planning Your Will and Trust is designed to help you to think about how you want your assets to be distributed at death and help you gather the information your attorney will need to prepare a will or trust that accomplishes your goals. We also offer sample bequest language to share with your attorney or financial planner.
Alternatives to Private Foundations
We offer several endowment fund options that provide simpler alternatives to a private foundation. By transferring a private foundation to an endowment at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation, you can remain involved in grant making decisions and ensure that your charitable intentions are continued in perpetuity. In addition, we handle all administrative and legal requirements and offer greater tax advantages and fewer restrictions than private foundations.
LegacyGiving – A Planned Giving Resource
Our free, online planned giving resource, LegacyGiving, is designed to assist you and your professional advisor with your estate plans. LegacyGiving offers an online wills planner, a planned gifts calculator and a variety of information about estate gifts including bequests, trusts and charitable gift annuities.
Fund Portal – An Online Fund Reporting Tool
