Description The fund was established by former World War II prisoner of war Pendleton Woods to encourage gifts to assist with the care and maintenance of Oklahoma’s Medal of Honor grove in Valley Forge, Pa. The 52-acre Medal of Honor Grove pays tribute to the recipients of the Congressional Medal of Honor, with a one-acre area dedicated to each state.
