Jim Thomas

In addition to being a successful builder of commercial sites and residences, Jim Thomas was an avid fan of amateur sports. He gave countless hours of his time as a amateur wrestling coach and promoter for many years. He knew the important role athletics could play in the mental development of young men and women.

Prior to his death, Mr. Thomas established a fund at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation to honor his parents and brother. A bequest from his estate to the J. Edwin, Laura, Ross and Jim Thomas Family Trust ensures that Mr. Thomas will continue to support emerging needs of the community as well as other charitable interests such as funding scholarships for outstanding high school wrestlers and girls basketball players.
