Affiliated Fund

These are permanent funds which serve as an excellent alternative to a private foundation for a large endowment fund or a charitable trust. They can be started with a fund value of $500,000. The fund benefits from the Oklahoma City Community Foundation’s investment services, administrative and financial reporting, and record-keeping.

The Oklahoma City Community Foundation program staff is available to help donors administer grant programs or develop charitable activities. A group of Trustees or advisors for each fund is named and these individuals help carry-on the charitable intentions of the donors into the future.

Most Affiliated Funds at the Oklahoma City Community Foundation are organized as 509(a)(3) supporting organizations. All Affiliated Funds have separately negotiated fund agreements with the Trustees of the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.
