Description:

Provides talented middle and high school musicians of Oklahoma the opportunity to study and perform great works of symphonic music, while developing their leadership potential and building responsible citizens for the future.  OYS supports local school music programs and seeks to afford ensemble experience to young musicians from school systems or homeschool backgrounds that do not offer such programs.  Membership is by audition and open to public, private and homeschool students.
