2009 Recipients of the Learning With Love’s Scholarship are announced

August 14, 2009 – The first recipients of the Learning With Love’s Scholarship program have been announced. The scholarship was established in 2009 by Tom and Judy Love to honor the entrepreneurial spirit and unending quest for learning exemplified by the couple. The program is open to all employees and dependents who work at the Love Family owned entities including Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores and is administered by the Oklahoma City Community Foundation.

To qualify, applicants must be an employee or employee dependent of Love’s Travel Stops & Country Stores and affiliated operating entities; be eligible to attend or currently attending an academically accredited post-secondary institution; have a GPA of 2.0 or greater through high school and in subsequent post secondary studies; have unfunded academic expenses; and be pursing an education in areas of business and entrepreneurial studies.
