Oklahoma City Community Foundation Awards $14,500 in Grants to Two Local Projects
Oklahoma City, OK –At its November meeting, the Oklahoma City Community Foundation Board of Trustees approved $14,500 in Margaret Annis Boys Trust grants to two Oklahoma City projects.
The Margaret Annis Boys Trust is a fund established in 1991 by the estate of Miss Boys, a longtime elementary school teacher who had a deep appreciation for Oklahoma native trees and flowers. Grants from this fund support beautification projects for public parks, medians and other public lands in Oklahoma County.
“We are fortunate to have loyal donors like Miss Boys, whose generosity allows us to continue to rejuvenate and renovate public spaces,” says Nancy B. Anthony, executive director. “In the years since her gift, more than $2 million has been distributed to fund 300 projects for school grounds, public parks and medians and neighborhood entries in Oklahoma County.”
