Description	"Our mission is to provide cultural, civic, educational and social activities for South Oklahoma City." To accomplish our purpose, Women of the South sponsor several fundraising events. Two major events held annually are the "Southern Gala" and the "Southern Open Golf Classic." Women of the South has awarded numerous scholarships and participates in many cultural and community projects. Financing for these programs is achieved through these annual fundraising events.
